David is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Plant
Pathology at Washington State University. He is interested in solving
problems with statistical inference and philosophical tools. When not
writing with natural & programming languages David enjoys being
outside with the newfoundland, Josh.
Sudha is an Associate in Research in Department of Plant Pathology,
WSU. Her current projects include validation of DEGs in potato,
mustard, and Verticillium dahliae using molecular tools. She is also
interested in identifying and forecasting potato diseases in the PNW
region utilizing satellite imagery and weather data. She previously
worked in the epidemiology of blackleg disease of canola for her
master’s degree in NDSU.
Hannah Tarlyn is a 2020 graduate from Washington State University with a
bachelor’s degree in zoology.She enjoys working with birds of all kinds from
chickens to eagles and everything in between.While very much a bird person,
she also keeps a variety of hobby plants and especially likes growing succulents.
Though she spent her undergrad time studying animals, she has enjoyed the
opportunity to gain interdisciplinarylaboratory experience working in plant
pathology. She currently has a corn snake, a betta fish, a flock of chickens
and a variety of house plants.
El is currently completing their AA at Spokane Falls Community College, with
plans to transfer into the Computer Science program at Washington State
Universtiy to complete their BS. El is interested in the application of
computer science to biological studies.
